Customer Survey

The first step of the bathroom installation process will begin with us answering your enquiry and arranging a convenient time to come along and meet you at the property. Upon our visit, we will look to gain a better understanding of your vision and exact needs, providing ideas and advice where needed, built up from many years of experience in the trade. We will then conduct an inspection of your current bathroom space, checking for feasibility, ensuring we can go away with everything required to provide you with the most accurate, free, no obligation estimate for your new installation.

Quote acceptance

Upon acceptance of our quotation, we will arrange a pre commencement meeting with you to discuss the install further. This we find is invaluable, as it allows for us to get any final decisions agreed, discuss the process in more depth and to generally make sure that everyone is happy, helping to ensure that come installation day, everything is in place to allow the job to run smoothly.

First day of installation

Prior to the installation, our professional bathroom fitters will put down carpet protectors to protect your floor coverings from damage. We will then remove and dispose of your current bathroom suite to make room for the new suite and in a way that is friendly to the environment. The existing waste pipes will be removed, making room for us to supply fresh, clean pipes for your new installation. In the process, we will isolate all required water and electrical connections for safety. This will all be carried out with consideration and minimum disruption in mind.

Installation of your new suite

Once the old bathroom has been cleared, our team will then carry out any necessary building works that might be required, as well as making all the necessary preparations for the new supply and waste pipes. The new pipes will be run into the position of the new bathroom fixtures and the pipework diligently tested for leaks, before the floors and walls are restored. Upon a thorough check that all the first fix stage is complete, the exciting part begins! With great care and a keen eye, the new fixtures will be installed, along with all the finishing touches, such as tiles, cabinets, blinds and decoration, bringing your new bathroom to life!

How Long Does it Take?

At Adept Sussex Limited, we are acutely aware of the upheaval and obvious complications that not having a bathroom can bring, so to make the process as comfortable as possible, we will always leave the toilet in place for as long as possible and even at the point it may need to be removed, we do this in a fashion that enables it to be very quickly reinstated, never leaving you over night without.
The overall length of time it takes to install your new suite will typically depend on the extent of any building works that may be required and the specification of the wall, floor and sanitary fittings.

Time frame guide:

A like for like suite in the existing layout, or perhaps a bath removed and level access shower installed in its place, including wall tiling and finishing can usually be completed within 5 days.

A more complex install, with fixtures being relocated to other areas of the room, fully tiled with porcelain and a high specification finish we would look to advise on taking 7-10 days.

An extensive install, including the taking down of walls, relocation of fittings, electrical alterations, plastering and a high specification finish would be in the region of 10-15 days.
